Your Naturopathic doctor will complete an in depth constitutional - looking at your tongue and pulse points which will guide the practitioner in determining the right points to use for your particular case. Once the points are inserted, you relax for 30-45 minutes in our therapeutic treatment room with salt air inhalation, aromatherapy, and soothing music.

Acupuncture is also used for pain treatments. This form of acupuncture is based on the area affected and the clinicians use their clinical experience to formulate your treatment plan. Excellent for rotator cuff injuries, back pain, sciatica, post surgical pain, Thoracic outlet syndrome, Dorsal scapular nerve entrapment, knee pain, IT band syndrome, piriformis syndrome, Arthritis, etc…

  • Cupping

Another aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine, cupping uses specialty cups to suction UP the muscles instead of pressing down as is done in massage and IASTM. This gives a different form of relief to pain concerns because it is relieving pressure on underlying structures (like nerves) that may be compressed and increasing blood flow to areas to aid in healing. Cupping has become hugely popular with Olympic athletes who need a more intense form of massage to manage their injuries and recovery. This treatment is wonderful for Back pain, sciatica, Thoracic outlet syndrome, dorsal scapular nerve entrapment, IT band syndrome, and more.
